Left in 2020 as craft with the 80K buyout. There is just a pile of jobs, if you have a Fiber/DEG background. I’ve enjoyed a fiber supervisor, field engineer and now a construction coordinator job. RDOF FTTH is a huge project encompassing many companies….should be a nice 5-10 year window of opportunity. Go for it!

I could be unemployed for 3 years….I pick and chose, not the employer. I moved on when I WANTED to ….unlike some people who are afraid to let go. Each opportunity has a increase of $$$$ and benefits. So just think of them as promotions ….so you feel better.
