Houston Timewise Stations

Shell purchased the remaining share of Landmark Industries (Timewise) gas stations in Texas (about 250 stations). Will the Exxon branded stations convert to Shell? Anyone knowledgeable of this transaction? Details are limited. I try to support the brand, but it’s becoming harder to do so each day.
Speaking of, when’s the Mobil 1 oil rebate happening? Seems late this year…

The gasoline all comes from the same place. The additives that make it “Synergy” fuel are after the fact (just before it’s pumped).
But you’re right, I find myself going to the worst areas for “discounted” EM gas. It’s much easier to find a competitive price without discount elsewhere. I could easily get a reward credit card and beat the EM discount most of the time… it’s really sad.

Where will I have to go to get my 8% discount?
Already, only the shabbiest stations wear the Exxon or Mobil sign.

And I saw the same tanker unloading diesel at a Mobil, a Unocal and a 7-11 on the same corner in Lake Charles. What gives??
