Underpaid and Overworked!

Struggling to stay afloat with food cost and now have to worry about filling my tank to go into an office that makes no sense. Bank of America’s CEO and executives are out of touch elitist who cares for no one but themselves. Pushing the diversity propaganda because it’s fits the narrative of the time while ignoring women who are struggling to put food on the table for their families.

Can’t wait for that survey to come out! Boy are they in for an awakening of how people really feel about their leadership. As for productivity, I plan on doing the bare minimum. Tired of giving my best and being loyal to a company that doesn’t care about my well-being. Absolutely hate this company, the so called leadership and the incompetent managers. The moment I get something else I will say good riddance and will never return.

Brian Moynihan only got a 30% Raise this year with a total compensation package of $31 million for 2022. You just don't understand the struggle he has to endure living on less than his banking peers!

The term “minority” literally means “fewer in number.” Dictionary definitions, however, include another notion: of being different from the social majority and subordinate to a dominant group. Being a “minority” is not about numbers. It is about social power. A group that outnumbers the “majority” but lacks power is a “minority.”

Based on census data, women are, indeed, 50.8% of the U.S. population. While they represent a plurality of Americans, women rank below men in “social power.” Women in business (my usual focus) represent a smaller percentage at each rung of the corporate ladder. Catalyst’s most recent report shows how the numbers drop. In the S&P 500, women are about 44% of total employees, 36% of mid-level managers, 25% of senior level executives, 9.5% of top earners and 5.8% of CEO’s (and just under 20% of corporate board members). Women continue to earn less than men for the same work and overall. Women, particularly single women, are more likely to be poor. According to the National Women’s Law Center, “more than one in eight women and more than one in three single-mother families are poor.”

BOA CEO is a male, most of his directs are males. All of these decisions being made are by males. Think about how many roles women have. They work a full-time job, they’re a mom, a care taker of the home ensuring everything gets done. Now imagine a single mom who has to worry about meeting all of those challenges alone.
Inflation and high gas prices will have more of an impact on women, especially single moms. The bank is too busy pushing their own diversity and inclusion agenda for an extremely small minority group when the biggest population being affected are women. Working from home allows women to stay in the workforce, be better parents and employees without having to worry about economic and childcare challenges. Statistics have show more women left the workforce during Covid.

To make matters worse, those darn RSUs are going to be next to worthless seeing how much the stock price has dropped, oh and be sure to remember you’ll be taxed - handsomely for your hard work.

Boy if someone needs to spell out to you that women is a diverses group being over looked for pay and consideration of how RTO is affecting them as parents in an already struggling economy, you probably shouldn’t be working at the bank.

You go into the supermarket and an hour later it’s barely 2 bags of groceries that cost over $100. Barely bring home much right now and so close to not being able to make the bills. Filling my tank is about the same. We are being paid very low now and are expected to stretch it even further. Whatever raise we got was despicable so technically with inflation we basically got nothing. Unbelievable what this country has come to but more appalling is how far corporations are willing to go for profits. I’m guessing this is the point where the middle class is completely wiped out. You’re either going to be rich or poor and the poor a slave to the corporations for a paycheck.

Corporations and billionaires have all made massive profits, in the trillions, during the pandemic while the working poor has suffered. Now inflation has come for all of us, but as usual, it is the poor who will bear the brunt of this abuse.

On a different note - I’m not surprised at the roe v wade precedent being overturned. The effect of this decision will be disproportionately seen in the poorer population, hence there will be more wage slaves.

This country is playing the biggest game and the jokes on us. Those at the top want to keep it a two party system, with both parties at the neck of the other to distract us from the real issues.

To add to my previous post - I saw more FTE’s laid off than contractors. As a contractor, I honestly felt like I had more job security than an FTE. It was almost like a constant threat of layoff for FTE’s.

I paid $98 to fill my truck, coincidentally this was the same amount as my utilities.

Never in my life would I anticipate paying $4.00 a gallon for gas (Texas)
