A lot of banks are doing this, it's not WF in a vacuum. Banking industry is overregulated, archaic and now stuck in pre-Covid times.
@1kag+1gEyh7zW, Did OP say he or she was a teller, branch manager, security guard, mailroom attendant - you know, something where they actually HAD to work in a specific location? No? Then going into an office is NOT an expectation of their job! I’m a manager and I will only consider compliance with Chucky’s mandate when assessing performance if I’m forced to.

I go in 3x per week - sometimes I see someone I know in the hall and I chat for a few minutes. Most days I just come in and talk on the phone and go home. Only a few miles from the office and don't have to pay for parking. No much value go in - but that's life working for The Man...
it's true. emails started going out to managers today.
I've been going in 3 days a week for 2 months now. Looking to back off that feequency seems how I am clearly overachieving, unintentionally.
Absolutely hate it. No chance of collaboration as I'm annoyed at how stupid it is the whole time I'm there.
