COVID SPREAD

Many people in my department have tested positive for covid. 5 days and they can be back in office. No social distancing and soon back 4 days a week. Covid on the rise. Most teams have managers off site. Gas prices rising, many can't find child care due to worker shortages. Then the increase at the bank 2 and 3 percent even if your a top notch employee. WHY????

The bank can’t decide what to do. We are told we are going back to pre pandemic. But you want people tested three times a week and encourage boosters. Don’t plan on getting tested and not getting vaccinated.

Half of my team has Covid. It’s ridiculous they have no issues with exposing all of us to potential long term effects.

They clearly only care about their precious economy and stock prices.

So stupid when people say “if you’re healthy you’re fine..” Uh yea… you don’t know what you’re talking about. My brother was 100% healthy- caught COVID and had minimal symptoms until weeks later- he has ongoing inflammation that the docs can’t explain other than long-COVID consequences. He can’t stop coughing and the doctors don’t have many treatments that can help. Let me repeat- he was 100% healthy before COVID got ahold of his body. It’s worth the concern - stop letting Faux news shove garbage into your foil hat.

This company lacks leadership. It has no solid plan for anything. They seem to make it up as they go. They don’t care about us because they can replace us in a heart beat even if it’s just a warm body in a seat. All of these executives making decisions are not affected by any of these crisis. They sit at home or in their office thinking of how much more they can make our lives miserable and then say they care.

If they dare send out a survey, rate every question low or don’t fill it out. What’s the point anymore. Every year we complete the stupid survey and nothing is done about our concerns. Seems pointless to me. Do they really neee us to fill out a survey to know how much they absolutely suck as a company. They’re entitled elitists! They’re uncaring and insensitive to our needs. We’re all just a number they pretend to care about. Working at BOA is literally just a paycheck. No one should aspire to be loyal or stay with this company because they will never be loyal back much less care. They’ve gotten too big and have lost sight of perspective.

If you’re healthy, you’re right - it’s very similar to a cold and you’ll recover. But there are people who don’t have strong immune systems and they are at higher risk for complications if they get COVID. I know people who have passed away from it (all had health issues). It’s not a one-size-fits-all issue. Some people have a right to be scared. For others, it’s not a big deal. Count yourself lucky if you’re healthy but there’s no reason to be mean to your teammates, especially if they have valid concerns.

my child had covid. They told me I could come back into the office asap. They informed me there is no difference between household exposure and say, random contact. I found this shocking that exposure to covid in your home is just shrugged off. I did not go back in until the next week. I am not looking to get people sick regardless of what the company says.

My financial center has an infected teammate, we are told to stay in office, full force on RTO, no excuses. I've called SOACC, life events servuce, etc.
I think unless you die now, that's the only way to keep employment benefits and no RTO cos you are DEAD!!!!
