Every Honeywell thermostat I’ve had breaks
Yep. Removing my Honeywell thermostats and replacing with Wyze this weekend.
These thermostats are my last connection to Honeywell. No more.
Who cares? Honeywell gave me a box of branded thermostats and security camera. All of them were c—p and ended up in the trash. Even the fancy Wi-Fi thermostat that could supposedly recognize my voice. Junk. I tried to install it and the voice on other end was clueless.
You pretty much get what you pay for with HTS. Reworks, past due, not to the work order, and then blame the US team.
@1kde Not true. HW looks to India for cost savings only. It is just vulture capitalism selling out the American middle class. Your business is a failure if you can only afford to pay engineers minimum wage. The sooner HW goes down the drain, the better for all involved.
Good people exploited by honeywell.
They should be paid the same wage you are and help to same standards.

The issue is mainly that there is no domain knowledge within HTS. And a lot of miscommunication.
