Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Micromanagement is out of control

Until about six months ago I was able to do my job normally. Now, my every move is monitored and I get told to do (and how to do) things I've been doing for years with no interference. What the he-l is going on here? If this is not the norm, how worried should I be? I'm utterly confused by all of this.

You must work in Transitions & Repositions. A certain manager comes to mind.

They definitely want you gone. I bet you got some new management. New management will always try to get rid of people. In order to make room for their buddies. Some older management try to suppose same cr-p. If there’s not room for one of your buddies they’ll definitely make room.

A perfect example of this. When they need to get rid of a group leader. They replace the old supervisor with one of their buddies. Then the supervisor finds a way to get rid of the group leader and replace them with their buddies.

This is how they flush out people. New management always doing us. Even the old try to pull this cr-p. The other reason you’re too damn old they want you gone.

I’m on older worker. It’s gonna take time to find a new job. Start looking for a new job you won’t regret it.

Micromanagement is just fear.
How worried should you be? As worried as the bosses who are micromanaging.
Get out before you are asked to start training people.

This is one of the reasons so many qualified workers are leaving Honeywell. Even Jockeys know you can't whip a race horse for the full mile.
