Other companies are creating wellness days for their employees at least once a quarter. Here we are only talking about mental wellness. And if you want to do anything about it, do it on your one dime. No wonder, ppl are going crazy.

Not disagreeing they couldn’t have had difficult situations in life, we all do. But it won’t be well received when discussing daily challenges when the majority of their audiences challenges on a regular basis are not the same. Or close to it. They don’t care and they should stop pretending they do.

Having said that - for those who may not know: Mary Mack unexpectedly lost her 23 year old daughter to illness about 8 years ago, so she does know about navigating life’s challenges.

Yes exactly. RTO and all the associated expenses in this economy is a ruthless move. I was doing fine paycheck to paycheck before.. now that’s not even possible.
All I know is that my mental health would be a LOT better if I wasn’t being forced to commute into an office three times a week just to sit on zoom/Skype calls without talking to anyone in person all day.
No, most (if not all) execs got to where they are by knowing the right people. It wasn't "hard work".
They don't really understand the struggles of those beneath them on the org chart. They think they do, but they don't.
no matter where you are in life there will always be someone who has it better than you. control what you can control and ignore the noise. you'll be happier in the end.
With regard to their job responsibilities, they are on a different level. With regard to their personal lives vs. yours in navigating challenges, I am sure they had those times early in their lives where they struggled. All of us did or currently do. They worked, put in long hours (as most execs do) and got where they are and enjoy that success on a personal level. Where is the offence in that? We are all trying to do that.
They are being more tone deaf if anything.
