Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Lowest of the Lowest? We R ExxonMobil

Hiring and breeding some of the worst. Examples:

Only three words: Dream Come True
Online certificates portrayed as degrees and accomplishment on LinkedIn.. misLEAD the way
A rat race among brown nosing losers to like management posts on linkedin
Selecting humans with worst and most risk averse attitude to management positions
Fellow colleagues with a very busy calendar full of meetings that produce nothing

OP good observation. Some of the worst employees are the ones who are trying to pull a fast on LinkedIn. Few observable traits

—- Liking each and every post from managers and executives on LinkedIn
— Hiding their Savitribai Phule real degrees from their profile and highlighting few week online certificate courses and false key claiming Harvard/Stanford etc. as their alma mater. One guy even has a banner behind his desk - a total creep
— Abusing diversity and inclusion events to catch management attention - do some work Fokker
— Making “I am humbled and honored to…” useless posts and tagging many many managers to get their attention every few days
—- and this cycle continues till eternity

@OP - don't forget the really brainwashed ones that have to post that they've successfully completed some meaningless corporate training course on WebCat.

@mfw - it is. It reallyis. I dropped off of LinkedIn 10-12 years ago, when even the fun of pointing out the hypocrisy of CEO's and Heads of States couldn't make up for the site morphing into FaceBook with a slight work-related bias. I went back onto LinkedIn a year or so ago, to search for job listings (it's still good for that), to find that it has become a full-blown social media site where users repost other people's photographs (cancer patients, military troops, special needs kids, etc.) or motivational messages .... desperately trying to increase their ratios (likes, comments, followers).

Oh - and we mustn't forget upper management and VP's (like Syrup) posting propaganda for EM and then the EM account thanking them back. LinkedIn truly has become a swamp.

Agree with the observation on fabricated qualifications and useless meeting that produce nothing.
