Some insider information: Work from home is being discussed and is going well. Both the union and the company are coming to terms on it. A 5 week vacation is being discussed later in the week. It appears this will go as smoothly as the last extension.

@3dxx+1gLkxY2W aww, you’re in one of those garages where they put all the seniors, praying they retire soon. Thanks for making the union worse over there years, causing them to lose power.
My garage received quite a few new hires.
That comment was amazing and made the point perfectly. It really shouldn’t have been removed. For those that missed it look at this comment, @2ujr+1gLkxY2W. It basically asked, why should I trust this person with anything when they barely know basic grammar.
75% my garage gets 5 weeks vacation another 15% get 4 weeks. Only 3 -4 guys with under 15 years
Admins should have left the comment that was deleted.
@2ytr+1gLkxY2W I agree. The techs get all these benefits while the reps suffer. It’s unfair that some techs are acting like cry babies whenever they perceive an insult at them. They are and forever will be the reason the union has lost its power. I’m a tech and I support our brothers and sisters with work from home.
@1xbk+1gLkxY2W I guess you don’t understand how a Union is one for all, all for one. It’s the same reason the Union told the company to go hike when they only wanted to allow business reps to work from home but all the testers had to come back into the offices.
@1nyx+1gLkxY2W - Well it is called thelayoff.com not uniondregswhine.com
CWA wheres the 19 percent COLA, inflation raise?
I know in my garage that we’re willing to walk if reps go back to the office. That’s most garages as far as I understand. Im not willing to see these people not get what they want because we’re not getting free ride to work.
@1ulc+1gLkxY2W Once again, another anti union tech who only cares about himself. Remember, they received all that extra money, all that voluntary overtime (not forced), and they still complain. They still hate their fellow union members, enough to attack them. Remember this if/when we go on strike, it’s their fault bad things happen to reps. It’s their fault the company has been at war with the union. It’s their fault for the loss of power the union has had over the years.
Their are plenty of techs who support us but the ones who don’t stand out.
Work from home won’t happen unless all those who go into garage/office get a benefit. We will see.
They should really rename this place badtrolling.com.
@1gku+1gLkxY2W Most of the workforce gets 3 weeks a years so this would be a gain. Currently, management receives 5 weeks vacation from day one.
Real question here. Many employees have many years of service. How is adding 5 weeks vacation going to help. Most already get 5 weeks vacation. Or is this 5 weeks vacation on top of what they already get. Seems far fetched. Would have thought the offer would mirror closer to what management gets. This is not a young workforce that is only getting 2 weeks a year.
They better RIF me soon Im almost eligible for my retirement benefit of 25% off my wireless plan. Think if all the savings if they RIF me early!!
CWA = Can't Win Anything
RIF'd = CHAA CHIING!!! 💰💰💰
i hope i don't get RIF'd so that the union thugs get whatever it is they is demanding
What about work from McDonalds? I already do it anyways.
