Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Tami leaving at the end of the year

Interesting news.
Does she want to retire or was it more of a conflict of opinion.

That is a hoot! Moffett the Cable Guy has always hated the company, and at least Tami Tami can say more than: "5 Yeee, 5 Yeee"!

"Marni left as she was passed over for Hans as Lowell's replacement" - This is a joke! Marni the Mor on NEVER had a chance at the big seat. She wasted more money than everyone except Hans. She was a bad joke. Just like Tami. It does not matter what you know, or what you can do, but whether or not you squat or stand to relieve yourself.

False news on Diego - he still has a large team.
Pambianchi left as she was against having a riff in the middle of a pandemic.
Marni left as she was passed over for Hans as Lowell's replacement... could be the same here.

Diego was also barefoot on the cover of Abbey Road.

Per the eweb, Diego scotti has no direct reports and reports directly to Hans. What’s going on there?

If you really want to have A #GoFightWin kind of day, then it's time to clean house and part ways with Hans Vestberg, Matthew Ellis, Diego Scotti, Rose Stuckey Kirk, Shankar Arumugavelu.

She was the worst I have seen. She was in over her head. It is sad that somebody like her could rise to the level she did. She was simply bad. Hans is a fake.

I was truly worried when 2.0 came and she was picked to be the chief of business. It truly reminded me of a mindless operation of making reports about reports about reports. It was surprising that business exceeded its numbers during her first year in the driver's seat, but it had nothing to do with her. The slowing of business however did. She was the queen of woke but unfortunately will not be as broke as all of the employees that are.

I think Hans will gone in 2023 with a very golden parachute. That will be 6 years.
He’ll make his $50 -$100 million and move on to his next gig.

I was wondering why the stock was up today!

She was the most unprepared head of an LOB in decades. She was in Way over her head.

She did not have the education nor the temperament to lead an LOB. Her core competency was social justice, not telecom, and hid behind Veterans in order to push her Social Justice positions.

I think that the BOD or major shareholders are waking up to: get woke, go broke!

Different situation than Pambianchi. Tami has been here for 35 years, not a short run. I think Tami has known for a few years that she'd never be the CEO. As much as I love a good insider story, my feeling is that she'd really just decided it was time to move on. I mean how many of us wouldn't have had enough of the meat grinder that is VZ after 35 years?

Reminds me of the email when vz vp of hr, Christy Pambianchi, left. The tone of his email was cold and ungracious.

Hans' statement said he agrees this is the right time for her to move on. In the middle of the year he has said is critical. Why not go into this year with a team he believes in? I don't know anything about Tami's abilities but his statement, which is carefully drafted and reviewed, struck me as ungracious and unnecessary

She wanted to be the next CEO, but wasn’t selected. Hans will be out in less than 90 days. Just look back at how things played out when Lowell left.
