You will not repeat as NI, you are guaranteed an NSI. So plan on the PIP/PIL discussion.
When you receive the pink slip in the mail together with a box full of your office stuff. That's when you will know your ranking.
What’s the normal length of time between the ranking meeting and notification? What’s the shortest length of time? I’m waiting for NSI so I can PIL ASAP.
Communication has already started for some in BR.
One thing you can count on - if you're in the first wave of feedback interview to be scheduled, it's not going to be good news.

Looking forward to seeing my repeating NI this year! Can't recall my supervisor doing anything to help me improve the last year, but...
It really depends on your work group and when the supervisors hold the ranking meeting. Last year, rankings were announced Early July-Early August.
