Too late. Too late. They think they know everything and wound up like Putin thinking he can conquer Ukraine with the people there welcoming them with open arms. Lots of experienced workers already left. Once the remainder return they will be disgruntled to the point that they are just hanging onto a paycheck until they find another job closer to their home, that accommodates their work-life balance, or is hybrid/remote. Bank of America stubbornly crawled behind the times on this issue to purposely try to prove a point. The only point they proved is how to ruin the productivity and numbers of a bank in less than a year and a half. They failed miserably in how they implemented RTO and especially with how they interacted with their employees in RTO. The failure of higher management to realize it only proves that their days as management should probably be numbered. They could introduce a hybrid option within the next week or two to try to ameliorate a percentage of employees, but I think a great majority of the next level of experienced employees are just biding their time with a paycheck until they find something better.
@2ebj+1gJiAfXT said it perfectly.
