Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

No one cares about WFM anymore

I too have a plan to leave WFM, but until I find a better offer, I'm still trying to do my job to the best of my ability. Then I look around and see some people who no longer work even the bare minimum. They would supposedly like things to be better here, but they contribute almost nothing anymore. Strange. How can things get better if one doesn't try harder?

Why contribute my store has 4 ASTL's now and all 4 of them just sit in the office and laugh all day. TM's see this and are not happy. The place is swamped and teams are asked to bag for the front end and they still sit in the office. Mean while our depts. look like cr-p and the STL gives the TL a hard time.
I no longer take my job serious and like most tm's I am looking for other employment.

Why would anyone work hard for a company that works people to death, shows no gratitude for hard work, and cuts benefits?

The arrogant fu--s at Global WFM created this situation. I take pride in wasting time on the clock.

This place is a joke. You shouldn't take it seriously, but to be laughed at. The ole days are gone..... Use them because they're trying to manipulate you for information and data. There words mean nothing because they flip flop on everything. Sorry for people that took supervisor position, ATL's and TL who have to listen to these people. As long as your on the clock your winning in my eyes. Don't give them anything, but what they deserve. Nothing.

Because the problem isn't at store level nothing TM can do to change anything other than Unionize. Nothing has changed with the culture compass responses and nobody up top is doing anything to improve anything. Nobody up top cares because they collect huge amounts of money no matter how poorly things are going at store level. Sales have not suffered so no reason for them to care because all stores even working with bare bones crews continue to make them money.
