Berkshire Hathaway eliminated nearly all of a large stake in Verizon Communications (VZ) in the quarter. The company held just 1.4 million shares of Verizon on March 31, down from almost 159 million shares on Dec. 31. Berkshire’s stake in Verizon totaled about $8 billion prior to the first-quarter sale.
Barron’s wrote earlier in May that Berkshire likely sold all or most of the Verizon stake based on our analysis of the company’s first-quarter 10-Q report.

What Hans did to Ericsson was public knowledge. Those that chose him to be CEO knew exactly who they were hiring. Those that hired him also need to be investigated.
Just a simple Google search of hanz brings to light past poor stock performance and a corporate embezzlement scheme under his leadership. As a result erricson paid 3 billion fine to the usa. What I find is odd is that we signed a 5 billion dollar deal with erricson this year seems like a payback. SEC needs to investigate. Do not trust these people with your 401k there running this place to the ground.
Did Hans disclose the black cloud under which he departed Erickson? Maybe Verizon can sue him and retain some of that $40M.
The BOD is a failure hiring this guy. They didn't know his track record. Should be a class action lawsuit for him dragging the stock price down.
Maybe he thinks the 2023 contract will bankrupt Verizon. Only place union labor can compete is where there is no competition - the bloated, worthless government monopoly.
Not a good sign when The Oracle of Omaha bails on you. The Verizon BOD need to take notice and replace Hans Vestberg who has been a total failure.
