Maybe Johnny should have spent less time on listing what he loved and loathed for the prior week and just hit that Power Supply Make Purchase button... 8^)

They did nothing but sing praises of MM yesterday. Chuck is past stupidity at this point. Shame the entire board can't be replaced as they own part of, if not all of the woke garbage. Run the business. Thankfully, they also managed to be forthright and say anyone in GR12, not above, not below, are not getting the bonus service multiplier. Way to slap 20+ years in the face. They were blunt there as well on that call. Turns into a 7k slap per year for most in GR unless they managed a 1.8+ IPF the last 4 years. Of course the over paid buffoons on the ELT made more the last few years in stocks and bonuses. They won't get touched in the whole implosion as long as they keep up the leftist, soros garbage and to continue to run this cr-p other employee's throats shows this will only get worse. Did I say s tfu and run the business?

V2MOM was just a mechanism to force people who may question the credibility of their leaders competence to quit. It was an intelligence purge activity. Worked for me .

That summary list is so psychologically nauseating.

Brain bleaching.

It truly makes a normal person wonder who would ever remotely buy into the stench.

Obviously many people at much higher pay grades than us both thought the stew up, plus sold the ramblings to then allow it to flourish.

Too late now, much too late regretfully for this whole mess.

Transform Webex to WebXXX, add a TeamSpace channel and an V2MOM channel, provide content and you will surely have growth.

after few years i still have no idea what is this v2mom, i just procrastinate until management sends me template to paste.
i am sure no one understands, and i see people spending a lot of times there. I guess they could do something useful instead

Bummer, I left in 2020 and did not get to experience V2MOM first hand. But this sure sounds like signature Cisco BS. When I was there, my manager attended a multi-day offsite for TeamSpace (unbelievable, multi day offsite for that) and he came back convincing everybody TeamSpace was the greatest invention ever. It's so bold, innovative and will push our group to new heights. Nevermind the our product HW sucked, software was build on an infrastructure that was total cr-p, the the BU culture was cover your own a-s and deflect blame to others. Good times LOL.

It depends on where you sit.

MM and the leaders under her get to play games and try to pretend that that they're making progress towards some goals to show value to the company.

Directors, managers and individual contributors just get to waste people hours copying the goals of the person above them, and weeding out the stuff that doesn't apply to them and paying lip service to it. Then managers, directors and senior directors get to read reports to see what percentage of their reporting chain has completed the V2MOM and communicate down that everyone under them must complete it NOW so that each level doesn't get on the naughty list in their boss's eyes, so the IC's get hammered if they don't complete it in a timely fashion.

It's a complete waste of people hours and fake metrics. We completed those goals by the end of Q1 and no one below a senior director level has looked at them since. Let's cut out the wasted time and let people just complete the tasks their managers tell them to complete based on the priorities their manager has set, and we'd have so much more time to get actual work done.

Is someone working on integrating V2MOM into TeamSpace?? That should be the next logical Cisco progression as far as business priority goes.

Shut the he-l up. Don't give them ideas. I sure as he-l don't want to deal with V2MOM goals weekly.

V2MOM biggest waste of time

Vision: I will work at home indefinitely and do as little actual productive work as possible.

Values: I will wake up 15 minutes before my first webex, and take as many naps as possible between webex calls.

Methods: I will fill my calendar with as much worthless irrelevant meetings as possible. I will reschedule meetings with very little notice, so that I look much busier than I really am.

Obstacles: It is difficult to look joyful on team webex calls and I can't think of mindless trendy questions to perkily ask on team calls without taking a few shots of wh----y before the call.

Measures: Do my teammates view me as a neutered and harmless non-technical compassionate corporate jellyfish?
