I think the source of all the frustration is that people take some things very personally and still expect everything they do to be noticed, valued and adequately rewarded. On the other hand, my only expectation from day one here was to learn as much as possible and use my upgraded skillset to find a better job. That was my priority here and in fact the only thing I was happy with was that I really got a chance to learn a lot at Intel. So I am surprised by those who say they didn't get the chance to learn?

I remember one particular acronym someone told me and it makes a lot of sense.
NATO: No Action, Talk Only. There's a lot Intel people that are really good at NATO
Of course we all learn from Intel, just that many of us learnt that Intel has too many speakers/talkers and toxic environment creators
24 years at Intel. I found it to be a great company that allowed me to move in whatever direction I wanted. Probably had 6 careers at Intel from MT to Engineering manager which I retired from a year ago. This site has a tendency to be frequented by folks who can't seem to move on once they were fired or left for other reasons. Take what you read here with a grain of salt.
This is a company of fiefdoms. You are lucky that you got to learn but sadly that’s an exception not the norm. If it were, Intel wouldn’t be languishing as it does today.
