Supposedly fido is handing out “inflation” raises to those that ask. Is this true?

If they did, I highly doubt it would be to those who ask. It would be a cost of living adjustment or adjustment based on what others pay in the area. But it would be menial. IMO, switching companies would still get people way more money. It’s unfortunate that such a wealthy company will only pay decent salaries to management, with blanked out salaries on the higher grades, 40-50% bonuses even on grades below that, etc.
Don’t hold your breath, with the market getting hammered expect nothing. Maybe RIF’s this fall, but no cost of living adjustment!!!
They will NOT give you a raise. They will fire many older associates with great knowledge and pay grades. They will continue to fire this group until you start believing that you’re lucky to be taken advantage of by Fido.
Things where I work point to no. Multiple factors. But it would be nice. Albeit probably minor. Fidelity could really step up their pay game as it is.
Market leveling... right... I'll keep waiting.
They are monitoring the situation, looking at a possible market leveling.
so gullible.
