Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Hope there’s an article on how BofA has delayed Employee Survey to avoid hearing the truth

I hope someone writes an article about how BofA has delayed the Employee Survey to avoid hearing the truth. It’s laughable. HR is driving the company into the ground and they’re absolutely being ignorant at this point. HR, stop trying to control RTO and get back to your actual job… helping is hire qualified candidates!

@4qpw+1gSMMHtC - Leaders are supposed to lead. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are doing so. The point being that you can't pin the blame on HR for bungling RTO. Decision-making and the authority to make necessary changes happens in the senior executive suite.

You mean the leaders who tell all of us we have to work in an bank building (even though no one we actually work with is there), while they call in from home and fly back and forth from Charlotte polluting the air in their corporate jets (that we, as shareholders, pay for).

You mean those "leaders"?

At the end of the day, executive decisions are made from the top of the house. It's called leadership. Leaders are supposed to lead.

Incorrect. Senior leaders in HR are absolutely responsible for the RTO plan.. they run it by BM, but he just shrugs his shoulders via Skype from his home office and agrees. He doesn’t care that we’re (like every other employee at any company) unhappy about RTO.. HR is focused on what will make their job quick and easy. But this won’t go down easy for them when they have to re-evaluate the plan again because people aren’t coming back.

RTO is not driven by HR. HR supports the enterprise, the business segments, and is at the direction of the executives that run the company. HR facilitates the messaging and assists with strategy, provides data, and feedback to the decision makers. If you don't like the RTO policy, wait a quarter as it will likely change over the next few months.

I’ve heard the RTO debacle is very much HR driven. I’m just wondering how the company is going to react when they eventually put out those surveys. Where are the results from the last one? Instead they think throwing some penny’s at us will calm the anger.
