Early notice

Layoffs we're given out for July 1, 2022

Isn't it weird that TR gave such an early notice?

It is strange that there is notice for July 1st layoffs. the past few layoff have been to give people 2 weeks of notice. Is this to create fear amongst those who are still employed to jump ship so the company doesnt have to pay severance?

Sure hope it’s my job. The only reason I haven’t quit is because I know I’ll miss out on severance the moment I resign. Just hurry and offshore my job already and give me the true mental health relief I need

From my understanding it impacted a lot of finance, not sure who else though.

Wish they would ask for volunteers again in NY? I’d take it.

In another thread it was said that layoffs were handed out a few days ago. No details on who was laid off.

Agreed. When were they handed out might also be useful to know.

Why so vague? Layoffs "we're" given out -- where?
