Too much attrition. Today two colleagues gone: one GCP, one AWS. Both directors in Security and SD-WAN.
With the attrition around, the company does not need LRs. Terrible situation in U.K. The senior management does not even try to hide the fact that our careers are dead here.
Should have asked Oprah while she was still on screen. Missed your chance to all of life’s most difficult questions 🙄. What a colossal waste of money. Next you know, they will start laying off people to balance Oprah’s fees on the books.
And we need permissions to go meet customers in U.K. This is the state of Cisco UK.
Speaking for our dept here, attrition has been so high and constant there is no need to lr. Senior position nowadays is full time interviewer and educator in a never ending loop.
