Agreed. All CVE cares about is finding that fine balance between keeping your a$s in a Cenovus cubicle seat with just enough money to ensure you keep showing up every day.
That’s it. It’s nothing personal if you have hurt feelings along the way. Remember, no one retires from CVE. You are eventually layoff , when close to 50 or if you fall out of favor.
The same people who gripe on here also worship corporations and capitalism. They have no problem with a goblin like Kenney gifting massive tax cuts to corps while going after health care, etc... CVE and every other billion dollar corp do not care about you or your feelings.
Meh if you aren’t making bank at an energy company you have definitely done something wrong in life. A ‘lowly’ employee is doing better than most anywhere else. Go try it.
Agreed about the lowly employees who worked extra hours & took on more workload when stock price was $2 per share, and they cut cost to drive profits up for the company. 20 for 20 was the incentive for them, and the company slapped all the lowly employees in the face.
Is this true? How do you know they cashed out on 20 for 20?
