It’s not that I have any illusions about the company giving a rat’s a-s about any of the employees, but regarding the workloads that just keep getting bigger and bigger, I feel that we are the part of the problem too.
I didn’t see anyone for a long time speaking to their managers about the fact that we get too much work dumped on us. Given that nobody is protesting about this it has become sort of a new normal and managers don’t even spend their time thinking about this.
I don’t see the possibility of one employee making a difference, but if more employees addressed this matter and took it to their managers maybe they would tone it down a little, or employ an extra employee or two.

They can't work you harder than you are willing to work. Don't falsify records and you'll be good to go. The company will do more with less until they break you, don't let them.
Go for the union jobs. No hard work required!
People are hard to find right now, and jobs really aren't. If they are working you too hard, which was my experience when I worked there, jump ship.
It will probably yield a pay increase for you, and almost definitely a more reasonable workload and less toxic environment.
People have been speaking up. Management just doesn't give a diddly squat.
