I don’t one to be another poster talking about the good old days, but I have been here long enough to remember when we had a normal relationship with our managers.
Micromanagement is nothing new to this company but it was never at the level on which it is right now. One has to wonder if the micromanagement practices are systematically imposed on the managers and they are taught to behave this way or are the people chosen for these roles just plain sadistic?

You forgot the Agility leader just shameful
+1 to whoever wrote this. Every band 7 employee has to deal with feedback from 3 "thought leaders", 2 managers, and every "principle", "VP", and "executive" they can find.
If you still actually practice your craft, you are a unicorn. Unicorns are special. Leave IBM or get your doctor to start documenting how this sadistic he**ho-e has ruined your mental health and make IBM pay for you to rest your mind while you go on leave.
For real, I have never seen a band 9 or higher actually contribute other than provide hot air to suffocate the actual creators.
