You’re right! Same signs at 2008. Looks like we keep repeating the same mistakes. Feds are expected to raise interest rates for the next five months to curb inflation. High house prices coupled with high interest rates causes stagflation and then recession. Most would argue we’re already in a recession. Housing market crashes with many under water with their mortgage. The numbers didn’t make any sense and we’ve been due for a reset. How long this will last is anyone’s guess. Hard times are ahead. With that said I suppose layoffs will be coming soon.
So have several other companies, brokers, experts in real estate, members of the Fed Reserve, members of the government overall. Personally, I even saw the potential for a recession and another housing bubble burst several months ago.
