Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Why do people exaggerate?

I have noticed that almost always the ones imagining the worst case scenarios are those who are dissatisfied and unhappy but do not have the courage or skills to go somewhere else.
"BofA will collapse" - I even heard someone say that. C'mon, is it possible that someone can go that far with their pessimistic prophecies?

You know nothing about business and the disruptive innovators. Ever hear of blockbuster video? The bank especially under its new higher management has made mistake after mistake. They know little about employee retention and so they are losing them all to other banks and competitors. RTO is just one item on the list. Managers are now telling employees there will be no work from home at all. Weather, sickness, random appointment or anything. So their survey tries to hint one thing to appease the masses while their actions prove the opposite. Their survey alone proves that they are starting to realize the leaks in the ship are growing with more disgruntled employees causing higher errors and more people leaving. The bank isn’t some monument. It’s a business like any other. Without good employees errors rates go up and productivity goes down which will cause more customer dissatisfaction (or family or friends of current employees hearing how it is there spread the negativity as well) and without customers it will collapse and be sold off to its competitors.

Some of these comments are proof the world is indeed on a collision course for a crash.
Conspiracy theories are rampant, folks that claim to be godly are not, lier’s are looked up to for truth, any amount of truth is seen as a lie and with no proof to back it up. Mean, untruthful, uncaring cheaters are to be praised and worshipped. It’s said in the very book so many have but fail to live up to that beware of those that make sweet bitter and bitter sweet.

Yes folks wake up. See what is happening in front of you and wake up. Do it individually, don’t follow crowds into deep pits and over cliffs.

All that said, RTO for the sake of RTO is proof the folks pushing this are out of touch with reason, logic and decency. RTO because there is actual documented proof that collaboration is needed… physically… in a common room or section. Don’t lie about it all while offshoring made you millions each hour of each year, over the last 30 years, or getting technologies that has allowed remote communication and collaboration so that you can take advantage of low labor cost worldwide all while raking in millions for sitting in decked out corner offices. And even then spending time at the golf course or hob-nobbing with politicians and celebrities and then getting the chance to claim this on your taxes.

Based on what I have seen and what is actually happening - the Covid infection rate is slowly but steadily increasing. This will have corporations slow the push or just remain silent on those not showing up. They have kind of already stopped the push. They are just not saying anything. My take is that if anyone who RTO does get sick and ends up on a vent there will be some type of legal ramifications. But time will tell.

My hope is that this thing does not mutate to something so ugly that even the foolish that claim its the “sniffles” run screaming for the hills. That usually the end result, right?!? They claim its nothing and paint this picture all while wearing the tin foil and then they want to be the fist in line to get out of Dodge when the monster grows the 3rd row of teeth.

Yeah folks, wake up!

The US dollar is not back by anything . Are we about 30 trillion in debt. We are beyond bankruptcy levels. There is no political solutions for this. It's called sin and greed. We have legal infanticide in this country. It's time to wake up and turn back to God. Repent. Black rock is buying one in seven homes, rents are skyrocketing. The hunter laptop scandal is real confirmed by the New York times. Wake up. The economy will collapse in a year or two after huge amounts of people die for the jab according to mutiple doctors and scientists. It not conspiracy theory it reality your all too afraid to accept. You took a su----e jab to save a job you hate and worse pushed it on your children without doing any real research. Repent. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.

The zombie survives despite its countless blunders and misdeeds largely because of its size. A monopoly shared with 3 other mega-banks, CITI, WF, JPM. Runs roughshod and tramples on its employees with limited consequences. It seemingly does whatever it wants and pays the piper if it gets caught. Look at the bank's rather sleazy and sordid history of countless fines, lawsuits. Its a faceless, bureaucratic monolith. Bad actors.

It will . Watch. >>>> They will collapse it on purpose <<<<< just like the housing market. Wake up.

Corporations as large as BAC will never collapse it on purpose. That thought actually crossed your mind? Wow...

OP is a troll and obviously does not work for the bank. Any employee in the trenches can see the result of RTO on employee morale, inability to find high quality talent, infrastructure impacts. This is a slow moving iceberg so will be like the frog in a pot of slow boiling water. Hopefully things will turn around soon.

Most on here thinks WFH is 5 days a week and anything else will not cut it. Go ahead and leave now, that isn't going to happen.

There is no exaggeration, people are leaving the bank more now than before. More and more companies are embracing and offering remote opportunities. Soon everyone that wants remote will get remote but posting out is a process and it takes time to get a new job. Big corporations have failed before. Let’s take a trip down memory lane. Too big to fail? Bear Stearns
AIG
Lehman Brothers
Morgan Stanley Goldman Sachs
Bank of America

The ones that survived today were bailed out by the Federal Government including Bank of America. It’s coming!
