Mental health reasons if your therapist/psychiatrist signs off on it
Coworker approved. 70ish. Obese, smoker, diabeties w 2 hour commute to NYC got approved at least for 2 years or retirement which ever is sooner
Back problem probably won’t work bc they will just get you a stand up desk. Overweight with diabetes might work. I heard that is a big risk factor for COVID ICU hospitalizations.
Back problem.
If you are severely immunocompromised (like on medication for a recent organ transplant as an example), a doctor might write a note saying you are at risk of complications if you get COVID. I’m guessing that’s probably one of the only valid ways to get a medical exemption.
How you work from home is by making an executive decision to not show up. Problem solved.
If you have to ask this question, you don't qualify for WFH.
What type of medical exemption would work for mywork? None of my team is local.
No such thing with their company. They don’t believe in wfh. Correct with them forcing the my work folks in going back to the office. Best to leave. Plenty of remote opportunities offered by other companies.
New job. Technically you can get a medical exception and be offered to be part of the MyWork program but that does come with a target on your back. Before covid they were either forcing MyWork folks to come back to the office or laying them off. Good luck
