Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Does this forum get acknowledged by management?

I was one of the lucky ones who got let go in the first 2020 wave so I haven't been an XOM employee in a minute.

Some of my former colleagues and I would discuss some of the concerns posted on this site on the down low and at the time it didn't seem that management was too aware of what was going on over here.

With more people being let go and morale/reputation hitting all time lows, I would imagine that this forum would be discussed more openly than it was before.

Has any SLS, DH, VP, ect. formally acknowledged any of the points made on here, or the existence of this site in general? I'm aware that it can be easily dismissed as just a mob of disgruntled/unhappy employees and there's no real way to check the credibility of the posters on here.

However, a lot of good points, concerns, and discussions have been had here and I'm just curious if anything on here has been actually acknowledged by any of the ringleaders.

Yes there is a plan. There was always a plan. They knew the moment EV cars started, plus having a new campus are all interestingly connected . COVID was the actual bonus. Anyone can get PIP’ed at Exxon y’all been there long enough.

Was in a large meeting last year when the VP of CSP made an offhand reference to this site and said that reading it was like a punch in the gut.

I thought, well no sh-t TJ, If that's how you felt reading it imagine how all the rank and file employees felt living through it! This lack of self-awareness is typical for the senior execs in Dallas.

If any “ SLS, DH, VP, ect. formally acknowledged any of the points made on here, or the existence of this site in general” they would have the same fate as a Russian general who would go to Putin to tell him that the war he started in Ukraine is a disaster and will bring Putin down.

My old boss used to read it. But he quit about a year ago. You have to read this board if you want to stay informed. It’s how I first learned about the 401k elimination and that the PIP rank group percentile this year is 5%.

I will say yes they're very aware. Those that aren't don't want to know the truth and would rather all the fake smiles we put on mean sincerity.

We're all watching ourselves get screwed over while the execs and shareholders collect money hands over fist while we have to make adjustments personally due to inflation.

They don’t want the truth because it doesn’t fit the agenda. Fake layoff pips would have to be addressed so protect the weaponized pips by ignoring employee concerns.
