Employee survey

Anyone take the employee survey? It feels more like a personal evaluation and psychological assessment that can be used to evaluate further efficiency opportunities (as the data privacy notice mentioned that HR will have access to the raw data including name of individual taking the assessment). And the open survey questions don’t imply there is any interest for meaningful feedback of structural changes that are needed from management at a time when employees already don’t feel that they are being heard. #HRBlunder22

I answered a survey one time and HR ran down to report my answers to my site manager. How do I know? Site manager reported it to my department dotted line and that manager told me. I was brutally honest with my feedback and stated I was actively interviewing for another job! Haha….resigned when the very clear message was sent by upper LT that the number 1 asset of the company was no longer its employees. #drivenintothegroumdbb

They've always had this, but now you're aware.

It’s almost the exact same as the exit survey.

Will compare exit survey responses with employee survey responses to gauge how much future attrition to expect.

Will anything actionable be done?

Time will tell.

How about this.....answer the survey and provide your honest and critical feedback.
Seems it's better to provide frank negative feedback in the survey than to preach to the choir in this forum.

They have to do these things for appearance sake. The questions are blatantly rigged. It’s an intelligence test designed to find bad attitudes.

Any manager high enough to actually do anything material is pulling down multiple millions per year with salary, RSUs, options, unlimited vacation, corp jet use, trips around the world, “marketing trips” to formula one races, special executive health care, etc, and things I don’t even know about. They’re gonna milk it and retire with 8 or 9 figures and not rock any boats. Only the shareholders via the BOD can change things, and they just want their dividends and will milk it also. Nobody cares about you.

Everyone’s on the take and need to keep you in your place to keep it going. So get some for yourself and fill it out 100% perfect.

I'm not responding either. Someone gave an example of the questions and ... yeah... if you are asking me if I have fun at work after the last two years, just stop. I can see how they will twist it "Yes, it's hard work, but 50% of you have FUN at work. What can we do for the OTHER 50% TO HAVE FUN TOO?"

That will poison the remaining good bits fast. Nope. Not helping with that. If you spend 2 years ruining any remaining goodwill I have toward the company, you don't get to preach about how I should feel about work.

I think I think the same. I'm not responding to the survey.

During periods of headcount reductions (2019-2023), no survey is anonymous. All surveys can be tracked by your IP address which means that H/R and your local management can use the survey against you for NSI, NI, and PIP.

If you are honest with answering all survey questions truthfully, you will be NSI. It is interesting that the survey is being asked for right before the career development cycle ends. Coincidence (I think not).

Just more head games prior to the hunger games. May the odds be forever in your favor. Rolling dice would be much more time effective than the pip process

At the O&A Chemical plant in Beaumont we know we’re not being heard. We are pushing for everyone to take the survey it’s the only glimmer of hope we have.
