Arbitrary goal setting. Obscene workloads that don't allow a worker to get below surface level.
When your goals are set halfway through the period of time in which your goals are measured, you figure it out. Read that again...that's right.... you have a 6 month goal, but you don't get your comp plan / goal sheet until the 3 month mark. It doesn't matter. Goals are set by Finance to meet the needs of Finance -- the he-l with motivation or input from 'the masses'.
It is almost like leadership is wanting this thing to crash and burn.
