It looks like we'll have another major wave of COVID this Fall. We'll probably have this every year.
So, what happens with RTO?
Do we go back to 100% WFH?
I think so.

C19 will be back in a big way this fall.
Unless Putin nukes us first.
Another month, and another variant. This will be the norm from now on. IMO, if we continue with safe practices - washing hands, safe distances, cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze and wearing masks when necessary - that might help to lessen the effects of the variants.
Well COVID is now less important than the common cold.
Anybody still worrying about this is likely even afraid to cross a street when the walk light is on.
Now that we're good at preventing COVID deaths, I doubt it. I only know my state's stats, but before we had effective treatments we were at a 0.5% death rate for confirmed COVID cases (was the lowest in the US due to our state also having the youngest average population.)
Before we stopped regular testing, our death rate in January was down to .01%. Unless a new strain risks lives at least at the rate it did before (if not higher), I can't see any justification for shuttling down again.
Oh, bless your heart.
Pandemic is over dude, stop smoking that good stuff
agree with everyone that says we treat it like we treat the flu, so get off your lazy a-s and get in the office
I'm pro-vax, pro-mask, and pro-science, but IMO this country has reached the limits of pandemic fatigue, and even if COVID comes back even more deadly the country will just shrug it off and go about its business.
Wow, so much ignorance in this thread...

They won’t do anything unless the outbreaks are so bad that they disrupt business continuity. If they do something it’ll be, “you get to be remote for two weeks”
Yawn. What about the wave of the Flu this fall? More deadly than Covid and never a second thought 2 years ago to show up, maskless, hacking on people, your hand and touching everything to save a PTO day. Now so concerned about C19... Double yawn.
They;ll put out more propaganda on MSM "news" and show folks wearing 2-3 masks, face shields, quadrupled boosted. More like boosting profits! Go us empire capitalism.
What do we do when the Flu returns annually, We WORK!!!
Get on with your life already.
I hate to say it but COVID is over. Of course, it isn't, but the perspective has changed from managing a pandemic to more of this is something society will have to deal with in perpetuity. I doubt we see a return of many of the more stringent precautions seen previously during the pandemic, regardless of whether it's a good idea or not.
I think not. we ain't going back so get used to it.
