I heard of one such case that Cisco called a person who left to come back. It was hard to believe at first, but when I think about it a little better, it's the only way Cisco can "attract" talent now.
Is it possible that it's become so difficult to find skilled employees and that the company has fallen so low?

its a chain.. lots of people from cisco i see moving to oci/aws . Ton of people in aws are moving to oci. A lot of good people from oci are moving to AWS. lot of people for aws/oci are moving to google. There is a net hopping all around, but cisco doesnt seem to be on the list for any of them looking out for a job
I know the @1nwi broken English is a gag. It is funny because in the current environment as bad as things are, it could a true employee.
No one to fill up the replacement.. obviously calling people back. My ex. Manager called me back after searching for a replacement for 6 months..

I wouldn't go back. I sold all my remaining shares last week. 3% dividend was sure nice. I needed to close the final chapter on this sinking ship. Reinvest somewhere else. I love my early days there though.
This happens all the time, everywhere. Come on, this isn't news
Current project seems like a train wreck waiting to happen. Everybody is lying on the call about "readiness". It seems doomed to fail. I have seen a couple of people come back to this project, but not enough honesty about what it takes to cross the finish line. Dev needs another 6 months at least.
Starting to see a lot more good folks and management leave of their own accord. It appears the wheels may be starting to fly off, and people that notice want off of the vehicle. Won't need any LR at this rate.
no 1 I know is really recommended people to come work for the company. Most actively discourage it.
They are hiring really id--tic people who don’t understand anything and can’t read context, can’t communicate effectively. The infighting is bad cause everyone is stressed out and the few logical people still around are deadass sick of dealing with idocracy. ELT is st-----g off to woking off and whatever. Just collect a check till you get where you really wanna go. They did this to themselves and they won’t listen to anyone.
