Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Survey

Wow. Seems like folks dont respond to the recent survey. Management scrambling to increase the response rate. Some functions at 15%!

What message does this send to MC and what does it mean to our leadership?

The questions were ridiculous. Some of the questions were actually insulting... "Do you work and have fun?" How are you suppose to answer if you work hard and absolutely dont have fun. D-mb question.

Then they asked questions phrasing it as if the culture was the employee's fault and we have the power to change it. What a load. Thousands of us over the years have said change the ranking system because it is demoralizing...how about listen to your employees when they tell you what to change. Fix the ranking system and you will see the culture change. Dont waste millions of dollars on a consultant to write up some bogus survey.
Ultimate fail

Lol. They want feedback. Not filling out the survey while we worry about our jobs and peruse LinkedIn … that is our feedback.

I'm ignoring everything related to this survey!

Received 3 reminders from various levels of my BU asking to fill out the survey.

Clearly, someone is on their a-s about low participation.

Last year I was owd, I'm not compiling this waste of time.

It sends the same message we’ve been trying to send, but management refuses to accept. “Maybe if we move down to Houston, we can fix the morale by showing the teams, we too can wear business attire.” . This place s.u.c.k.s. And if full of mo--ns.

We had a vp message over Skype asking for responses to the survey, perhaps that indicates take up is low?

Survey seems more like it isbtryongbto send message or reads like propaganda. What can you do to improve the culture.

The survey is so stupid it seems like either a legal exercise or another misguided consultant recommendation. Re--rded.

I'm not responding because, due to lack of manpower, this year our group was instructed to prioritize work based on business need and risk management.

In the end, I don't really think this survey will matter anything to me or the business so it has been prioritized very low on my list of things to do.

Keep sending me reminder emails but I'm very busy.

I stopped after 2 pages. Questions are irrelevant.
Something like “I'm aware of EM strategy?”. Agree /disagree.
That's a wrong question. They should have asked “Do you agree with EM strategy?”
