Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Health has no price

It is unfortunate that some of my colleagues now accept even jobs that are less paid, because they can no longer bear the stress here. I also accepted a job the other day and even though the pay isn't much better I immediately felt relieved when I gave notice.
How many more of you would rather forgo some pay than suffer the enormous stress here?

My price was $10k/week to come back and save a project after all the employees quit.

I haven’t been on this site for years. I left in 2015 because of the stress. And the stupid HOS. In response to one of the comments here, I was sitting in my cubicle one day and overheard a manager asking another employee to do some project and the employee became unglued all over that manager. Started bi-----g about not enough time and working on many other projects.

I was patient for nearly two years and got a job outside of Honeywell that pays 80% more. I always knew that I was under paid.

I was totally tickled when I "got picked" for the big COVID RIF because the insanity of the place was ki----g me. I'm a late-career office worker who has worked in other companies and industries, and have never seen anything as dysfunctional as "business as usual" at HON. Giving people projects with hard deadlines but refusing to provide the inescapably necessary, specialized resources to get them done is just plain insane. I had already started looking, and knew that I was underpaid in my field and would be able to command more money for less stress at another company. And that is exactly how it worked out.

Is this some VP pondering an offer to employees that they only need to work 8 hours if they take a 20% pay cut?
Here is a hint, people are not that stupid. They all know that you would cut their pay and then still demand they work free overtime or risk being 9 blocked.

The only fix is for everyone to simply grow a pair and refuse to work past 8 hours and go home. After 1 quarter corperate will be performing investigations on every VP and director about the work culture.
