Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Bank of America Recruiter

Called me to interview and informed me you have to be in the office 5 days a week! Grass is not always greener. They are scouting WF employees hardcore.

Dude bofa in the office 5 days a week has been in the news since March and on this site. Not news.

All of the banks are the same.

OP here not a WF cheerleader but the pay here is good. They have their own issues there as do the other large banks. Most places have issues even the smaller ones. At least WF pays well and has not mandated 5 days yet.

"Responded with, thanks for reaching out, but looking for a fully remote position only."

Doing this with a lot of cold calls from recruiters. That and pay is still about 10% below WF for almost all of them. All remote and comparable pay...I'm gone.

This is like comparing an 85 Corolla and an 85 Nova. They're the same. They even use the same processes and vendors. They pretty much mimic each other, sans scandals.

Grass is always greener over the septic tank

Hadn't heard from the sour grapes crew in a while on here.

To anyone wondering: the grass is indeed greener at a large amount of places, don't be discouraged by WF cheerleaders. It's worth it to apply out.

Even fully remote who would want to work with a whole toxic company? The people who come here from there have been some of the rudest, least skilled and outright hostile people I have ever met.
