This isnt about liberals and republicans. The bottom line is they did not qualify and we have the proof. Legally speaking, no one is entitled to a loan. You MUST qualify and those qualifications are not solely determined by us. At the end of the day, a lot of this started with an expose (hit piece) on all lenders and the analysis they conducted was flawed. There will always be L and R leaning attorneys trying to swoop in and “advocate” for people. Let ‘em!! In the end, we did nothing but wrong and if anything the tighter controls put in place after 2008 “to protect” is the reason lower income and lower scored people don’t qualify. The rich get richer.

Where on any mortgage application does it ask for race of applicant ?

This guy has always been a joke. No loan applicant / borrower is being discriminated against based on skin color. IF the company were to do that, it'd be in the form of handouts to "certain groups", aka the racism of exclusion against the group it's 'ok to hate'. (Not in my mind, in the pea-sized brains of racist people that insist on judging others based on skin color).

2008 happened such a long time ago. It PROBABLY won't happen again.....
