Does anyone know how in office time is tracked? I know it's by badge swipes, but is there any tracked amount of time to be in the office? Would a half day, for example, count towards the total?

Badge swipes aren't enough because they finally figured out that not every building requires you to swipe to leave so now they will be tracking IP addresses to see if you are logging in remotely.
Being told you just show as 6 hours for it to count as a day…
currently combination of batch and network logins.
We were told it's all about IP address. Badge swipes will soon no longer be used at all.
If you have two laptops, keep one on office and use one from home? (log in to both). Of course, then you'd have to trick the idle/inactive monitoring software on the one in the office.
Both badge and PC location tracking.
Hmmm, relay to building wifi in 3...2...
Of course they can monitor it both ways but I think they will go after people not going in period before they come after anyone going in for half a day.
They're moving from badge swipes to IP address. Be warned.
not in our office - done by location tracker on laptop.
You badge in and it counts for one day
