I’ve got an EV with 100 mi range. Not a van but for traveling around town that mileage is more than sufficient. It would be sufficient for an in-town delivery vehicle too.
The windshield wipers probably don’t work, neither will our “data collection.”
Our connected data and customers told us 120 miles per day is all that's needed, so that's what we're offering them. People here keep thinking data is not going to drive our future. To that I say, here is a perfect example that data does and it will pay off with revenue.
With a 126 mile range, it would be OK if it costs in the range of a delivery scooter. No way anyone's going to pay full price for something 1/3-1/4 as useful as a regular van though.
That van is meant for commercial customers who have last mile delivery requirements. Its what the commercial customers wanted for a cost standpoint. This van is not intended for the general public. Its just a cheap delivery van no more no less
Totally agree. I have had Econoline and other vans for the last 40+ years. Range on a tank is over 400 miles, and I can tow basically anything.
