Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Layoffs have become desirable

We went from being laid off being many employees' greatest fear to it being many of our greatest hopes. How many people do you know who are now praying to be laid off? Too many to count. Now tell me, how monumentally does a leadership team need to fail for that to happen?

OP: Depending on the Honeywell company you work for the high attrition rates seem to be replacing layoffs. You might be in for a long wait hoping for a layoff that will affect your position.

I left last summer for another company with a 14% increase in salary and about $3,000/yr savings in medical insurance. If you're sticking around hoping for a layoff simply for a severance payout you might consider you can make it up simply by getting a new position at another company on your terms.
