I worked at several O&G companies before I got a job here. I'm not an XOM cheerleader, but honestly, i haven't noticed that the atmosphere here is any more toxic than it was there. Or perhaps I'm wrong?

They are all bad including ExxonMobil. Yuck
I worked for 6 different O&G companies before retiring from EM. Every company had their own issues.
Eventually, you will learn how to play the game or get washed out trying. Good luck!
I have been around the block two or three times, and I found XOM to be the worse when it comes to a toxic company. Always someone trying to squish you to get to the dangling carrot.
