Cisco, as always will pay double that (or more) to buy Twitter from Elon - a whooping $90b.
Then after 3 yrs, Cisco will offload Twitter by selling it for $3b max (assuming they can find a buyer).
This is inside info, Chuck just discussed this morning with a few select ELT. I work for MM and saw it on her scrap notes she accidently left at my desk while answering call of nature (happens a lot).
Nah...Cisco only overpays for large acquisitions when they can run a company into the ground. Twitter is already there.
Not before Twitter gets integrated into Salesforce and hosted in heroku. After all that's CX platform of choice. Then we do v2mom on it and add thousands of fields to track the heck out of it. Then we integrated all our 1000 useless tools to Twitter.
We then offload it for a 100$ , because no one can use it anymore

Yeah, Cisco wouldn't sell it for that much. They'd take a bigger loss on it. Or worse, just shut it down and not sell it off at all.
MM has the bright idea to host twitter in cx cloud and have her inept minions from salesforce tweet pillar talk to customers all day long.

Maybe OP meant to say Elon will buy Cisco for $44 millions.
I will close my Twitter account if Cisco buys Twitter, then I will quit my job here at Cisco.
