Tmobile DTV Warner Media HBO needs to be more like Netflix. Less quality and more quantity. $150 Billion in shareholder value eviscerated in 12 years. Zero accountabilty on the part of Stankey. It is all "We need to", "The Market Changed", "No one could have forseen" In a few tearsbthe next lemon will come along all polished up and Stankey wont contain himself. Dealmaking, Strategy, Vision are not Stankeys strong points. Apparently no one on the board or in his inner circle has ever informed him or steered him correctly to simply not do anything becausebyou are a tornado through operations and the balance sheet. At ATT you dont question bad ideas from above, you push them through to the financials and forget about them. Need to be more like Netflix.....ha ha

Ugh. Add to the list of JS’s failures the decision to opex the network vs the capex investment VZN made which completely opened up the performance gap with LTE. Does anyone remember that marketechture T had around 5G to appear more advanced than they really are?

AT&T will eventually end up like GE! There are a lot of people being paid millions to make bad decisions. The thing about AT&T is that bad management is insulated against incompetence!!!

Nobody willing to go up against Stankey, the result is instant termination. Stankey rules by intimidation, he knows it all, unable and unwilling to consider any other viewpoints. Sad, very sad.

Told HBO visionary and leader that he didn't know what he was doing. That visionary was scooped up by Apple in a second. Stankey would see the Model T factory and a fleet of them coming at him from down the road and still pour money into the horse and buggy industry to great greater ecomoncies of scale and bargaining power on buggy whips and wooden wheels.
