None of the above as Monty Brewster would say. Billions spent with really slow returns..

The stock has not been this low since 2017. This impacts the shareholders and all the Verizon employees who have their 401K invested in the Verizon stock fund. The time for Hans to go is long overdue. What is the BOD waiting for?

Can’t imagine all these non Americans in leadership positions know our culture. Are the unable to find Americans or internal candidates? Maybe we are that uneducated.

Verizon's future looks bleak with the current leadership. They led us down this failed path and are not capable of righting the ship. It's time to clean house before it's too late.

Someone made a good point earlier about picking Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse

Since woke world is all about grooming and grooming is grooving. adding a Disney degenerate to the mix makes much sense

Even former spawn Yahoo News Knows:

Ivan is 75 yrs old and not coming back. It's sad state of affairs that no one on the current executive team is capable of leading Verizon when Hans is eventually forced out due to poor performance.

And...Ivan fired Denny S. Had Ivan not fired Denny in a fit of rage over Denny not moving forward on 'the connected home'...then there never would have been a Lowell as CEO. Never. Denny was next in line.

Ivan also could not get Bell Atlantic approved to sell long distance before the Verizon merger which forced GTE to discard its $5 billion dollar investment in a brand new Tier 1 fiber backbone for Genuity. No worries though. After they eventually did get 133 Approval from the FCC, Ivan went and bought MCI and their old and under maintained Uunet. Not only did that save MCI from bankruptcy but compelled former Attorney General Bill Barr to quit the company in disgust. And Genuity's fiber got picked up by Level 3 and what became Zayo.

So Ivan back for CEO? Shirley you jest!

Ivan is responsible for all of this because he let Vodfone beat out Bell Atlantic to purchase Airtouch Communications!

Airtouch Communications in little Westlake, Texas has a non compete agreement with Bell Atlantic in Texas, Florida and California which were all of GTE's big cash wireless markets.

In order for the Verizon merge of Bell Atlantic and GTE to move forward Bell Atlantic, under Ivan, needed to purchase Airtouch but lost out to Vodafone.

Airtouch had a 4th string CEO named Lowell. The rest is bad history.

Tami has no serious biz education and it shows. She fakes all of it. Fortunately for the 2.0 Team most of the money making aspects of the business run, operate and thrive regardless of whether there are any execs or not. That is why she cannot come up with anything that increase revenues. This is what happens when for Affirmative Action reasons someone with no schooling from customer service can lead an LOB. At least with Stratton he understood the technology, the business and the manpower that moves it.

Kyle is a great engineer but not a CEO. He makes the dial tones, connections and data move.

Ellis is a great CFO like Kyle is a great engineer.

No one else on that list is either a serious technical telecom player that can lead people; chanting "Five-Yee" does not count.

Manon Brouillette - already realizes she is in over her head
Ronan Dunne - checked out; looking to head BT
Matthew Ellis - no chance
Tami Erwin - too hated and wants to retire anyway
Samantha Hammock - who?
James Gerace - who?
Rose Kirk - who?
Kyle Malady - would be a good choice so it will never happen
Rima Qureshi - will leave with Hans
Diego Scotti - no chance
Craig Stillman - no chance

Maybe there is a CEO of a small Canadian or Irish or Portuguese telco that wants a US job.

Legere knows Stratton, but nobody beat Legere. That announcement would put a definite pop in the stock price. Then again, it would also send shudders through most of the senior sinecure execs.

Legere would teach the 2.0 crowd to compete.

Legere would be the smartest move, but he may be bound by non compete agreements. Even if he were not most of the C-suiteies would not be able to handle his no BS management style. Their egos are too fragile for the changes that would need to happen to be successful.

All of the wrong people are all "in the wrong seats on the bus." A far better team of leaders could have been assembled from the people running construction and some of the busier garages. None of the BR people 'got the Motts'.

The 2.0 crew may have some interesting letters at the end of their names, but they lack the market, product and consumer knowledge - but more importantly they seem to lack the basic integrity of just being a good person. No one ever needed to track all of our good deeds before the Iceman had cometh from Sweden.

None. It will be a outsider with no communications background. And Kyle, no way, he's far from polished to run the show. Great guy but never happen. Tami, she will announce her retirment at the end of the year.
