Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

No one in the office

Not surprising that very few people are in the office. I often feel I had more connectivity with my team and business partners vs.. when I was WFH.

Work less in the office. I am busy socializing with people I don’t work with. Hahahah works is less purposeful. lol

Brian just doesn’t get it.

I'm in the office, which is a ghost-town. Only like 1-3 people in the office and hundreds of empty desks, but they want us in the office... FOR WHAT?!

Flagscaoe shows a picture of an employee that is excited to be back in the office. But he has his email inbox up in the background. Pretty sure we take a course every year about NPI

Social distancing not being adhered to. Meetings held in conference rooms. No masks and no social distancing. Management ignoring this? Or just so eager to get people back to the office they don’t care if people arent social distancing or wearing masks. It’s in writing everywhere but no adherence.

I am the only person in my work group in this office, but RTO says I have to be here, as I have been told numerous times we are an in-office company. They want me to drive 45-60 minutes to work, to hang around the water cooler, break rooms, and hallways collaborating in-person instead of staying busy working at home. One of the main complaints I heard others raise is that they can't get WFH people to respond on Skype as quickly as they want. I had someone ask why my status is Away so often now even though I'm in the office. I'm taking CEO's direction to collaborate in person. She can take it up with him if that means I'm available less now.

I come in for 2 to 3 hours and haven't seen many people. It takes me about 4 to 5 hours a day to drive to childcare provider 30 minutes away (can't find it closer), then fight traffic, find parking and then take the walk to the office to do it all again. The way I see it is they get 7 to 8 hours a day of my time. Before rto they got all my time all working. Now they get 2 or 3 hours working and the rest commuting...

They may be pi---d when they see not much is getting done..hopefully new job by then though...

Still as empty as before Xmas. Is a joke and I am working less because of the commuting!
