Yeah, and some of the EMIT Kool aid drinkers are still posting pics of their kiddos on campus stating how technologically advanced the company is and that their kids verbalized if they could work with them. How low can this cancerous mgmt. folks would fall? Epitome of stupidity and insult to others. Posts like this also confirms that the nepotism is rampant in this company regardless of individuals qualifications.

Agree with the 7%. What about that 7% match I lost last year.

While many are rightly disappointed in the size of the payment and that is was not an across the board raise. I will at least admit it was a small sign of progress and some indication that personnel attrition has reached a level that can no longer be ignored.

Even if he response was somewhat pathetic.

They also announced share buybacks expanding to $30 billion through 2023. If they gave just 10% of that to employees, each person would get $50k and they could still do $27 billion in buybacks.

Europe ignored again. Last one out, turn off the lights.

There are lots of things to complain about but this shouldn't be one of them. It's unexpected cash in the middle of the year... When we typically don't get anything until the next cycle.
This is a good thing!

Guess we only care about Americans leaving and our nationalities are not key to success. Even 3% is not going to make people want to stay; once you start looking 3% additional (what probably 2% after tax) won’t keep you interested. We are making record profits and share the minimum possible to non-execs.

Thank you HR for not caring about other nations and sends a very clear message.

I'll simply reduce my current 50% production level accordingly.

The problem is it shows that the the execs remain grossly out of touch with reality and makes clear the likelihood that the much needed substantial change will come is low. Politics still rule the day and it will be at least another 18 months before anyone can even dare suggest to TG her id--tic plans are failing. A fresh round of mass exodus of talent will ensue now and all that will be left will be people of her competency. I’d hasten to make a much bigger gesture immediately and fire her to negate

It certainly beats a layoff. I am grateful.

Literally better than nothing, so quick complaining. Complainers are trolls that left the company

Don't feel that they had a change of heart. BP just gave their employees a 4% adjustment and Chevron gave a 150% of the bonus targets.

With a flood of retirements and people leaving it's just a small band-aid

Looks like it's just a US thing. As usual the rest of the Exxon world gets screwed.

3% bonus, Heavily taxed and non benefit bearing, very weak market response

Seems to be 3% too high. Exxonmobils employees haven’t done anything but deliver subpar results, yet they all expect to rewarded for their “hard work”. Hard work doesn’t equate to results. The current employees are grossly overpaid in the base case as majority of them have an incredibly weak skill set with average intelligence at best

3% is pathetic when inflation is >8%

I guess this is just America then? Seems like you got 3% more than the rest of us.
