It was nice while it lasted, working from home, where I had a better chair and a better monitor. I wonder what percentage are those who have returned to the office vs. those who are still working from home?

Now I gotta make Costco runs in the weekend and fight the crowds. An no more mowing the lawn, laundry, washing the car during work hours.

I am not going back to the office. All of my coworkers are thousands of miles away from me. I challenge anyone who asserts that simply being in the same office area with someone that you don't work with, and probably never will, is collaboration that has any real (positive) impact on the company. I did that before, and I can assure you that this didn't help AT&T at all. I even got yelled at because my conference calls were bothering those other employees. I also live quite a distance from the collaboration zone (and lived there since my employ at AT&T). With gas prices, and the horrible crime that has been established in recent years in the area of the collaboration zone, I will not go back. I'm okay if they fire me. I have very good skills that I've worked hard to cultivate. I also work really long hours and don't mind going the extra mile (no pun intended). I give a lot to this company. I do enjoy my job and want AT&T to succeed, but this is the line in the sand for me.
Most all job titles in webphone have been updated with new occupancy indicators that tell you if it's a permanent WFH, in-office only, hybrid, etc. Look for your code on HROS.
I upped my religious exemption from the clot shot for another 6 months. When they tried to make me go in double-masked, I got a religious exception from face coverings. Now rumor has it that CRE is getting ready to not renew our bldg lease. I don't see going back any time soon. I'm entirely more productive at home anyway and my numbers are higher than any on my team who are flex.
I will not return to any office. The HVAC systems have never been cleaned, the carpets are foul & dirty. Virus germs on every desk, door handle, elevator, railing, chair. Signs in the bathroom asking people not to po-p on the floor. My house is clean and sanitized.
With CRE reducing and not signing new real estate leases, I would imagine most folks will start to transition to flex (1-3 days a week) to full time WFH. Updated policy to if there is a need to go in to the office, then go. If not, then you will stay home.
There is no one size that fits all. Some of my team work better in the office… while some work better at home. I will let each individual make their choice. As long as the work gets done, I don’t care where they sit.
In-person collaboration is needed, even if only with employees in other towers/departments. No one can deny that.
att doesn't know how to manage work from home it is a joke.
I guess they still think it is a privilege when every company is doing it now.
just find a company that does it and let att have all the office space they want.
