And they are planning on automating away those that made under $22/hr anyway.

agree with @brw. These increasing minimums aren't pushing anyone to actually work harder or more diligent. Just people expecting a better handout for showing up due to woke media brainwashing.

@rfj+1gubHDDQ your financial illiteracy makes me hope you are in IT and not near any financial transactions or planning. If you raise it without raising everyone else's salary, you essentially gave them a pay cut due to the increased inflation by giving the increase to minimum wage earners. Everything then gets more expensive. If $22 is so great, why not raise everyone to $1000 per hour? Surely that will end poverty.

$20/hour is already a TON for my rural area.

These increases in minimums aren’t encouraging anyone to work harder or further develop. It’s actually pretty pointless. I’m not jealous or bitter and don’t think it effects me I’m just sick of socialism and do think that it’ll derail this country in the end.

This is good for everyone.

Folks at the lower end of the pay scale need a bump and it'll lift everyone.

We need more of our profits to be turned into employee pay.
