… BR is thankfully out the door but the disaster she leaves behind is terrible. The function has been gutted. Where do we go from here?

Fortunately I’m out of the corp comm dumpster fire but I feel for all of my colleagues left. Anyone still there going for BR’s old role? They’re probably going to hire externally. No one in their right mind would step into that mess.

I recently left for a similar role and was shocked at how organized, respected and professional the comms function elsewhere. It doesn’t need to be this chaotic.
Bill Daley picked BR and a lot of other wrong hires.
I left Corp Comm last year, but I really feel for you all. BR was a wrecking ball taking something that semi-worked (but was still massively dysfunctional) and made it so much worse.
Being in Corp Comm outside of WF now I can see what a big mess was left there over the past few years. Until WF changes its culture, Corp Comm won't change no matter who is leading...
