Anyone have any intel on b4 like roles and how much hiring there is externally? Curious if people are getting lots of resumes or if attempts to hire externally are failing

I know someone in recruiting and they said it’s impossible once they submit their salary requirements and when they can’t promise even hybrid. They said they almost all end in declines.
They also have vaccine requirement so that limits some applicants even more. Yeah I know, they have unvaccinated in office now and yet still have a requirement for new hires. Why? No logic. And you wonder why they are in trouble in their field.
Yep, same story. Multiple B5 abs even offshore positions open since late last year and very few bites. Total of about 8 roles maybe 5 external applicants and one hire. Only about 4 internal applicants.
We’ve had a b5 open for months, only one internal applicant no external applicants. Assuming there’s even worse of an applicant shortage for b4s cause they’re more specialized
Not b4, but we have had an open role on my team since March. Only one applicant and they withdrew once they were told it's not remote. This was an external applicant.
Based on a Linkedin search there are 131 job postings, mostly Tech and have very few applications. I have been applying to remote only jobs and most have 75+ applications. They are not going to get many application due to limiting location and not offering any type of hybrid or remote work option.
If you do a generic search on the internal bank career site there are over 10K open positions, most being India.
