Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Don't you feel proud to work for a bank that is always getting the ire of Congress?!

Well well, Sherrod Brown and congressmen/women again busting the chops of WF today. It's as if the Bank just can't quit screwing up?!

When will someone come to the conclusion they're too big to manage? These congressmen/women shouldn't be just harping at WF, but the OCC. The congressmen/women aren't that smart or else they'd provide accountability to the government agency that regulates banks.

Mentioned to someone that I used to work for WF the other day.

Told her that a big part of the reason I left was all the criming.

And what are the odds, her daughter was once a WF banker and left because of the Eight is Great crime spree, she wouldn't do it.

And the nice lady herself had multiple accounts opened causing her a lot of problems.

They should have perp walked Stumpf and the rest and broken the place up into more managable banks years ago.

Whining about DC picking on poor, poor Wells Fargo.... SMH.

I do the exact same work for another far less corrupt business.

For the sake of your own sanity, just don't tell people you work for WF. Because if you do, then you'll always be in a position of having to defend WF's activities. It gets uncomfortable when WF does something you don't agree with, and people ask you, "why are you doing that".

We seem to have a lot of cr---y employees I guess. This is what happens when people put their own best interests above doing what's right.

I tell you what. WF has been subjected to this before. Many times.
The old Postal Pony Monopoly investigation in the late 1800s.
The crazy Utah Mining Union Massacre special counsel debacle in the early 1900s.
And now all of this stuff.
Don't sweat it. It will pass.
